Long cherished and awaited- StrongStreet own made yarn box VINEYARDS is ready to go on your knitting adventures!
Each yarn box contains:
- 2 x 50g StrongStreet hand-dyed yarn - tones are created specifically for this box
- 1 x handmade knit marker, with a real Swarovski crystal and mineral stones (colors of the minerals may vary, but the crystal for this box is chosen lilac)
- 1 x knitter's little helper - gauge tool
- 1 x VINEYARD sock knitting pattern (printed booklet) with detailed instructions on how to knit the socks shown in the last picture
- a couple of sweets, to make the knitting go more smoothly!
The story of VĪNKALNI (VINEYARDS)
This box for me, Ilze, one of StrongStreet creators is infinitely special. It's dedicated to my Omīte (granny), who, unfortunately, does not experience this beautiful moment, but definitely pats me on the shoulder from an edge of a cloud. She was the one who taught me how to knit when I was on her lap, just 6 years old. She survived through every of my "heel dramas" and supported when my knits had to be collected after being thrown to the wall.
Vīnkalni (Latvian for "VINEYARDS") was the name of her daily and my childhood home, which is still close to my heart. Also dedicated to the vineyards are the colors of this yarn box - bright leaves and gorgeous flowers wrapped around sandy trails in the yard. Right there on the porch, I sat up a chair to draw knitting schemes and learn new tricks, but behind the window grape vines, from which on late evenings of August could I snack on grapes.
The price is for the whole box, but delivery fee is not included.
The real tones of the yarn in life may differ from the ones in the picture, because the screen settings are different for each of them!
